New ultrasound technique could sharpen cancer detection

NCT ID NCT07270237

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of ultrasound called multiparametric ultrasound (mpUS) can provide more detailed images of tissue than standard ultrasound. Researchers will compare mpUS results with regular tests in up to 85 people who are at high risk for pancreatic cancer or have thyroid nodules. The goal is to see if mpUS can better show blood vessels and tissue structure, which might help improve cancer evaluation.
