New ultrasound peers into wounds to predict healing
NCT ID NCT05739149
Summary
This study aims to test a new, high-resolution ultrasound that can see tiny blood vessels in the skin. Researchers want to see if images from this machine can help doctors better understand and monitor how well chronic leg and foot ulcers are healing. The study is observing 10 people with wounds that have not healed well after standard care.
