First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at 250 people with common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) to see if ultrasound measurements of the liver and spleen could predict a dangerous condition called portal hypertension. Researchers checked liver and spleen stiffness and blood flow during routine clinic visits. No new treatments were tested—the goal was to find better ways to detect liver problems early in CVID patients.
