Summary
This study follows 2000 people with severe high blood pressure in the liver (portal hypertension) who receive a procedure called TIPS, which creates a bypass to reduce pressure. Researchers will track survival, need for liver transplant, and complications like confusion or liver failure over 12 months. The goal is to better understand how well TIPS works and what risks patients face.
