Earbud zaps insomnia in leukemia survivors

NCT ID NCT07191119

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests a small, non-invasive earbud that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear to see if it can improve sleep in adults who survived childhood leukemia and now have insomnia. About 40 participants will use either the active device or a sham (inactive) version nightly for up to 8 weeks. The goal is to see if the device is easy to use and whether it helps with sleep quality, stress, and thinking skills.
