New turkish questionnaire aims to better measure bladder urgency

NCT ID NCT07452796

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study will translate and test a questionnaire called USIQ, which measures how severe urinary urgency is and how it affects daily life, for Turkish-speaking women with overactive bladder. Researchers will enroll 130 women and compare their answers on the USIQ with other standard questionnaires. A subgroup will retake the USIQ after two weeks to check if the results are consistent. This is not a treatment study but aims to provide a reliable tool for doctors and researchers.

What this could mean

What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a reliable, culturally adapted tool for Turkish clinicians to assess urgency severity and quality of life in overactive bladder patients.
What could go wrong
This is an observational validation study, not a treatment trial. It does not test any therapy, so it cannot directly improve patient outcomes.
