Summary
This study looked at whether taking one dose of the herb Tribulus terrestris (625 mg) could improve sprinting and cycling power in 28 male combat sport athletes. Each athlete took either the herb or a placebo before doing a 30-second cycling test and 20m/100m sprints. The goal was to see if the supplement gives a short-term boost in anaerobic performance.
