Study pulled: mobile app for trauma and drinking never got off the ground

NCT ID NCT07118826

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study was designed to test whether a mobile app with personalized feedback and peer coaching could help young adults aged 18-29 who drink heavily and have experienced interpersonal trauma. Participants would have been randomly assigned to the enhanced app or a standard version, with follow-ups at 3 and 6 months. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling anyone, so no results are available.
