First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This observational study looks at whether a topical cream containing nifedipine 0.3% and lidocaine 1.5% can reduce symptoms like pain, bleeding, and prolapse in people with acute uncomplicated hemorrhoids. Researchers will follow 80 adults aged 18-75 who have already started this treatment as part of their regular care. Over 30 days, participants will have two phone check-ins and two in-person visits to track symptom changes using standard questionnaires.
