Summary
This study tests whether placing an ice pack inside the anal canal for one minute right after hemorrhoid removal surgery can reduce pain. Adults with severe (grade III or IV) hemorrhoids will be randomly assigned to receive either standard surgery alone or surgery plus this quick cryotherapy treatment. Pain levels and the need for rescue painkillers will be tracked over the first month after surgery.
