First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study compares two medicines placed inside a tooth after root canal treatment to see which one helps heal infections around the tooth root faster. 62 adults with infected single-rooted teeth will receive either triple antibiotic paste or calcium hydroxide, and healing will be tracked with X-rays over 12 months. The goal is to find the better option for reducing infection size and improving bone healing.
