First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compares two medications placed inside a tooth after root canal treatment to see which one helps heal infections around the tooth root faster. Sixty-two adults with infected single-rooted teeth will receive either triple antibiotic paste or calcium hydroxide. Their healing will be tracked with X-rays over 3, 6, and 12 months to measure changes in infection size and bone density.
