Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can improve memory and thinking in people with bipolar disorder. The trial will involve 88 adults with bipolar disorder who are currently stable. They will receive either real or fake TMS over 5 days, combined with computer-based thinking exercises, and be followed for 6 weeks to see if their cognitive abilities improve.
