First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called TMS can improve sleep in people with insomnia. Over 2 weeks, 144 adults will receive either real TMS to different brain areas or a sham (fake) treatment. Researchers will monitor sleep at home and in the lab, and follow up for 3 months to see if benefits last.
