New study pits surgery against ultrasound for jaw pain relief
NCT ID NCT07316790
Summary
This study compares two ways to deliver injections for painful jaw joint disorders. Researchers will test whether injections given during a minor surgical procedure (arthroscopy) work better than injections guided by ultrasound imaging. The study aims to see which method provides better pain relief and improved jaw function for 50 adults who haven't gotten enough help from standard treatments.
