First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether teaching children aged 9-12 who are on haemodialysis how to manage their time during treatment can lower their anxiety and fear. Twenty children took part, with some receiving the training and others getting usual care. The results suggest that such training may help young patients feel better emotionally during a tough medical routine.
