Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called intermittent theta-burst stimulation (iTBS) can reduce depression symptoms in people with treatment-resistant bipolar disorder. About 124 participants will receive either real or sham (fake) stimulation daily for 30 days, then be followed for 6 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in depression and mania symptoms to see if the treatment is safe and effective.
