Could low testosterone be a hidden cause of dementia?

NCT ID NCT04743466

Summary

This study aims to understand if low testosterone levels might increase a person's risk of developing dementia, depression, or anxiety. Researchers will analyze existing genetic and health data from large public biobanks, not recruit new participants. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve long-term care for people, especially those on certain cancer therapies that lower testosterone.
