Summary
This study tested a new automated system to see if it could grow cancer cells from patients with advanced metastatic cancer inside chicken eggs. The goal was to create a faster, cheaper research model to help scientists study cancer and test potential drugs. The study involved 101 adults with specific types of metastatic cancer, including prostate, breast, lung, ovarian, and gastric cancers.
