First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether terazosin, a drug used for high blood pressure, can change heart nerve activity in people who may be in the early stages of Parkinson's disease. Researchers will study 15 adults aged 50-85 with REM sleep behavior disorder, a known risk factor for Parkinson's. The goal is to learn more about how Parkinson's develops, not to treat or cure it.
