20-Minute TENS zaps back pain and stiffness instantly?

NCT ID NCT07242235

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a single 20-minute session of TENS (a device that sends mild electrical pulses through the skin) can immediately reduce muscle stiffness and pain in people with long-lasting low back pain. About 24 adults aged 18–30 with non-specific low back pain will be randomly assigned to receive TENS or just rest. Researchers will measure changes in muscle stiffness and pain right after the session to see if TENS offers quick relief.
