First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests if a single 20-minute session of TENS (a device that sends mild electrical pulses through the skin) can quickly reduce pain and muscle stiffness in people with long-term low back pain. 24 adults aged 18-30 with non-specific low back pain will be randomly assigned to receive TENS or rest. Researchers will measure changes in muscle stiffness and pain right after the session.
