First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new online program called TEAM-LEADS designed to help teens and young adults (ages 13-22) with lupus or dermatomyositis reduce stress and improve heart-healthy behaviors like diet, exercise, and sleep. The program is self-guided and completed online. The study will enroll 25 participants to see if the program is feasible and acceptable, and whether it shows promise for lowering stress.

What this could lead to

If it works, this could provide a practical, online tool to help young people with lupus or dermatomyositis manage stress and adopt healthier habits.

What could go wrong

This is a very small, early feasibility study with only 25 participants. It is not designed to prove the program works, only that it is acceptable and possible to run. Results may not apply to everyone.
