Summary

This study explores whether shared medical appointments are a good way to deliver care to young people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will design four group activities covering nutrition, peer support, exercise, and stress management. About 74 participants will attend quarterly clinic visits and group sessions, and take surveys. The goal is to see if this team-based approach is acceptable compared to standard care.
