First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether shared medical appointments—where teens with type 2 diabetes attend clinic visits and group activities together—are a good way to deliver care. Researchers will compare this approach to standard care in 160 teens aged 12-18. The goal is to see if group visits improve clinic attendance, blood sugar levels, and emotional well-being.
