Summary
This study aimed to create a simple scoring system to help doctors diagnose tuberculosis (TB) in hospitalized children aged 2 to 59 months who have severe acute malnutrition. Researchers in Uganda and Zambia tested different diagnostic methods in 603 children. The goal was to develop a tool that improves TB detection and treatment decisions in this vulnerable group.
