First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests if tamoxifen, a common breast cancer drug, can help men recover normal testosterone levels faster after finishing hormone therapy for prostate cancer. About 96 men who completed hormone therapy will take tamoxifen or a placebo to see if it speeds up recovery and reduces side effects like fatigue and low libido. The goal is to improve quality of life without affecting cancer control.
