New shot may shield celiac patients from accidental gluten

Summary
This study tested a new medicine called TAK-101 in 102 adults with celiac disease who already follow a gluten-free diet. The goal was to see if TAK-101 could reduce immune reactions and symptoms if they accidentally eat gluten. Participants received two doses of TAK-101 or a placebo through a vein, and all received active treatment after 24 weeks.
