Summary

This study tested a device called preCARDIA that temporarily blocks a large vein in the chest to help people with severe heart failure who are not getting better with standard treatments. The study included 60 adults with advanced heart failure. The goal was to see if the device is safe and can help reduce fluid buildup and improve symptoms.
