First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a two-drug treatment for a type of cancer in the upper urinary tract. The goal is to see if giving gemcitabine followed by a gel form of mitomycin can destroy the cancer without needing to remove the kidney. About 28 adults with favorable high-risk tumors will receive the drugs through a tube placed in the kidney. The main measure of success is whether the cancer disappears completely after treatment.
