New suicide prevention approach shows promise in Low-Resource communities
NCT ID NCT06208293
First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether a Suicide Prevention Package (SuPP) could be added to an existing depression program in rural Pakistan. Researchers worked with 50 women who had young children or were pregnant. The goal was to see if the program was practical and well-received, not to prove it works. Results will help design larger studies for low-resource settings.
