First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple ultrasound test can help doctors predict how well people recover after a stroke. Researchers will measure blood flow in the brain using transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound in 100 adults who had a stroke and received a procedure to remove a clot. The goal is to see if these measurements can spot early signs of complications, such as brain swelling or bleeding, and help guide better care.
