First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple ultrasound test can help predict how well people recover after a stroke caused by a large blood clot. Researchers will measure blood flow in the brain using transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound in 100 adults who had a stroke and received endovascular therapy (clot removal). The goal is to see if TCD readings can identify patients at risk for complications like brain swelling or bleeding, which could lead to better care after stroke.
