First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether a stepped-care internet-based cognitive behavior therapy (ICBT) with reduced support can work as well as traditional group therapy for people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). 95 adults with moderate to severe OCD took part. The goal was to see if the online approach eases symptoms and saves money, while finding the best time to step down treatment.
