First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether placing a stent (a small tube) after surgery to remove ureteral stones is really needed. About 60 adults having stone removal will be randomly assigned to get a stent or not. The goal is to see if skipping the stent leads to less pain and a shorter hospital stay without raising complications.
