First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study was designed to see if stem cells from a donor could safely treat fistulas (abnormal tunnels) in people with Crohn's disease who have a surgically created internal pouch. The trial was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available. It would have involved adults aged 18-75 with a specific type of fistula after pouch surgery.
