First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests if stem cells taken from a patient's own bone marrow can reduce pain and improve pancreas function in people with chronic pancreatitis. About 40 adults with long-term pain will receive the treatment and be monitored for changes in pain scores, medication use, and quality of life. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and offers relief.
