Summary

This study looked at whether replacing sitting time with standing or walking can help control blood sugar in South Asian adults who are overweight or obese. Eighteen participants changed their daily routines to sit less and move more. The results showed that even small changes can lead to better glucose levels, which may lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
