NCT ID NCT06763081

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study aims to find genetic markers that may predict which children and youth (ages 6–24) with depression, anxiety, or OCD will experience behavioral activation—a side effect like restlessness or agitation—when taking SSRI antidepressants. Researchers will compare the DNA of 160 participants who have or haven't had this reaction. The goal is to create a genetic test that helps doctors choose safer treatments and reduce this side effect.
