Heart shield after baby: spironolactone trial targets Post-Preeclampsia hypertension

Summary
This study tests if taking spironolactone for three months after delivery can lower blood pressure and improve heart health in women who had preeclampsia or high blood pressure during pregnancy and were overweight before pregnancy. About 204 women will be randomly assigned to receive the drug or a placebo. The goal is to prevent long-term heart problems.
