First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining three treatments—a spine-stabilizing procedure, radiofrequency ablation (using heat to destroy tumor tissue), and radiation therapy—can better relieve pain in people with cancer that has spread to the middle or lower back. All 70 participants will receive the same combination. The main goal is to measure pain reduction one month after treatment. This study is for adults with moderate to severe back pain (score 5 or higher on a 0–10 scale) from spine tumors.
