Nerve block shot before lung surgery may cut painkiller use

Summary

This study tests whether a special nerve block injection given before lung surgery can lower pain and the amount of pain medicine patients need afterward. About 70 adults having lung tumor removal will take part. Researchers will track pain scores and medication use for 24 hours after surgery.
