Summary
This study is testing if a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation on the spine can safely raise and stabilize low blood pressure in people who have had a recent spinal cord injury. It aims to help these individuals avoid dizziness and nausea when sitting up, which currently prevents them from fully participating in critical rehabilitation therapy. Researchers will compare the effects of an active stimulation to a sham (placebo-like) treatment in 12 participants during their early recovery.
