Spinal implant aims to restore walking and ease pain after spinal cord injury

Summary
This study tests an implanted device that sends electrical pulses to the spinal cord to help people with spinal cord injury regain walking ability and reduce pain. Twelve adults with chronic spinal cord injury will receive the implant and then undergo physical therapy. The goal is to see if the stimulation improves movement, balance, and quality of life.
