NCT ID NCT07626320

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This pilot study will test whether a weekly 60-minute sound bowl meditation, offered for six weeks, can lower stress and anxiety in unpaid caregivers. Forty adult caregivers who have been helping a chronically ill or disabled family member or friend for at least six months will participate. They will sit or lie comfortably while listening to crystal bowls, drums, and bells guided by a certified practitioner. The study measures changes using standard questionnaires for anxiety and caregiver stress.
