New app aims to help HIV patients kick the habit in laos

Summary

This study will test whether a smartphone app can help people with HIV in Laos quit smoking. About 1,200 smokers from eight HIV clinics will be split into two groups: one gets the app with tailored messages and videos, the other gets printed self-help materials. The goal is to see which approach helps more people stop smoking for good.
