Smartwatch study aims to spot surgery risks early

Summary

This study will see if a smartwatch can help doctors predict complications after surgery. Fifty adults having non-cardiac intermediate or high-risk surgery will wear a smart device and answer health questionnaires before and after their operation. The goal is to find digital signs that could warn of problems early, so doctors can act faster.
