First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested how well three different smartwatches measure blood oxygen levels compared to a standard medical device. Eighteen adults with low oxygen levels wore the watches and a medical pulse oximeter at the same time. The goal was to see if smartwatches can reliably track oxygen saturation for everyday health monitoring.
