First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests three types of brain radiation for people with 6 or more brain tumors that started elsewhere in the body. The goal is to find which treatment best protects memory and thinking skills six months later. Participants will get either focused radiation to each tumor, whole-brain radiation that spares memory areas plus a daily memory-protecting pill, or standard whole-brain radiation plus the pill.
