NCT ID NCT07226466

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study will follow 40 adults with brain tumors who are scheduled for standard brain radiotherapy. Researchers will collect blood samples, perform brain scans, and give thinking and quality-of-life tests before and after treatment. The goal is to identify biological markers that may explain why some people experience memory or concentration problems after radiation.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this study could help doctors predict which patients are at higher risk for memory or thinking problems after brain radiotherapy.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage observational study that only looks for links—it does not test a treatment. Results may not apply to all patients.
