Summary
This study tests a smart computer system that helps primary care doctors screen for and manage diabetic kidney disease in adults with type 2 diabetes. The tool automatically calculates kidney function, reminds doctors to order urine tests, and gives personalized treatment advice. About 3,000 people from 30 clinics in China will be randomly assigned to use the tool or receive usual care, and researchers will compare changes in kidney health over one year.
