Summary

This study looks at how well children sleep before knee surgery and whether that affects their pain and painkiller use afterward. About 166 kids aged 10 to 18 having spinal fusion will answer a sleep questionnaire before surgery. Researchers will then track their pain and opioid use for two weeks after surgery, using both patient reports and smart pill bottles to get accurate data.
